Olea is a fintech platform jointly launched by Standard Chartered and Linklogis, designed to connect supply chain investors and suppliers through a fully digital trade finance origination and distribution platform. The solution consists of three core portals:

  • Investor Portal – Transparent, data-rich dashboards to help investors evaluate opportunities, returns, and risks.
  • Supplier Portal – Streamlined financing and repayment processes for suppliers.
  • Internal Portal – Secure operational tools for internal teams to manage investor–supplier connections efficiently.

  • Designing for three distinct user roles with varying needs and workflows.
  • Structuring complex financial data for clarity and accessibility.
  • Ensuring scalability for a platform for global trade corridors.
  • Balancing professional visual tone with usability to reduce cognitive fatigue.
Contribution & Impact

As Lead UI/UX Designer, I led the end-to-end design of Olea’s Investor, Supplier, and Internal portals, translating stakeholder and user research insights into a unified, scalable experience. By structuring complex trade finance data into clear, interactive dashboards and applying iterative usability testing, I improved decision-making efficiency, reduced cognitive fatigue, and ensured seamless navigation across the platform.

  • Delivered 600+ high-fidelity screens covering all core workflows for three user roles.
  • Built a business-component-based design system covering 90% of UI elements.
  • Conducted 10+ in-depth user interviews and multiple usability tests during the design phase.
